Position: Commis Chef – Pan Asian Cuisine
About the Role
Miratci Café is looking for a dedicated and passionate Commis Chef with interest or experience in Pan Asian cuisine. The candidate should be eager to learn, maintain kitchen discipline, and assist in preparing high-quality Asian dishes in a fast-paced café environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparation of Pan Asian dishes including noodles, rice, dim sums, stir-fries, curries, and appetizers
- Prepare ingredients such as vegetables, sauces, marinades, and proteins
- Support senior chefs during kitchen operations and live orders
- Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards in the kitchen
- Ensure proper storage and handling of raw materials and sauces
- Follow recipes, portioning, and presentation standards
- Help in stock rotation and inventory management
- Maintain discipline, punctuality, and teamwork during service hours
Requirements
- 0–2 years of experience in Continental or Pan Asian kitchen preferred
- Basic knowledge of Asian sauces, ingredients, and cooking techniques is an advantage
- Passion for culinary learning and kitchen operations
- Ability to work under pressure in long and adaptable shifts
- Good teamwork and positive attitude
- Immediate joiners preferred
Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹25,000.60 per month
