About the Role

MetaDesign Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a proactive and skilled System Administrator / ITSupport Engineer to manage, maintain, and support the organization's IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Windows administration, networking, firewall configuration, and technical support. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, security, and performance of the company's IT systems and network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure, including desktops, servers,networking devices, and peripherals.

- Install, configure, and administer Windows operating systems and Windows Serverenvironments.

- Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot routers, switches, DNS, DHCP, and firewall devices.

- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, networking, and system-related issues.

- Provide remote and on-site technical support to employees.

- Monitor system performance and implement preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.

- Ensure system security by applying updates, patches, antivirus protection, and security best practices.

- Create and maintain documentation for IT infrastructure, network configurations, and standard operating procedures.

- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls where applicable.

- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors for IT-related requirements and issue resolution.

- Assist in improving system reliability, network availability, and operational efficiency.

Required Skills

- 1–3 years of hands-on experience in System Administration or IT Support.





- Strong knowledge of Windows Administration and Windows Server.

- Experience with firewall installation, configuration, and management.

- Good understanding of DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, and Active Directory.

- Hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting routers and switches.

- Strong networking fundamentals and troubleshooting skills.

- Experience providing remote desktop support and end-user technical assistance.

- Knowledge of hardware installation, system upgrades, and peripheral device management.

- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

- Good verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills

- Basic knowledge of Linux administration.

- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 administration.

- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

- Understanding of virtualization technologies (VMware or Hyper-V).

- Basic knowledge of DevOps concepts and CI/CD tools.

- Familiarity with system monitoring and endpoint security solutions.

- Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery processes.

Candidate Profile

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field.

- 1–3 years of relevant experience in System Administration or IT Support.

- Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

- Good communication, coordination, and documentation skills.

- Willingness to work from the Gurugram office, six days a week.
