Jewellery CAD Designer

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and creative Jewellery CAD Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in creating detailed and production-ready 3D jewellery designs using CAD software. The candidate will work closely with the production, merchandising, and design teams to develop innovative jewellery models with precision, accuracy, and market appeal.

Key Responsibilities

- Create high-quality 3D CAD models for rings, earrings, pendants, necklaces, bangles, bracelets, and custom jewellery pieces.
- Convert hand sketches, reference images, and concepts into accurate CAD designs.
- Prepare manufacturing-ready CAD files suitable for casting and production.
- Ensure proper stone settings, dimensions, tolerances, and technical feasibility.
- Generate realistic renders for client approvals and product presentations.
- Coordinate with production and casting teams to resolve technical issues.
- Modify and revise designs according to customer or management feedback.
- Maintain design libraries, technical files, and project documentation.
- Ensure designs meet quality, weight, and cost requirements.
- Stay updated with jewellery trends, manufacturing techniques, and CAD technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Proven experience as a Jewellery CAD Designer.




- Proficiency in any jewellery CAD software such as:
- Rhino
- MatrixGold
- JewelCAD
- ZBrush
- Blender (preferred)
- Strong understanding of jewellery manufacturing processes:
- Knowledge of diamond and gemstone settings.
- Strong attention to detail and technical accuracy.
- Ability to create lightweight and production-friendly models.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Experience Requirements

- Minimum: 2–5 years of experience in jewellery CAD designing.
- Experience in diamond, gold, silver, or luxury jewellery preferred.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Creative mindset with strong design aesthetics.
- Understanding of international jewellery trends.
- Experience working with custom jewellery orders.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Portfolio of previous CAD jewellery work

Software Knowledge (Preferred)

- Rhino
