Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Application Engineer (LabVIEW) to join our engineering team in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in LabVIEW application development, system architecture, and automation solutions. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering scalable solutions for complex test, measurement, automation, and embedded systems projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Design software and system architecture for automation, test & measurement, and embedded systems.
- Lead technical discussions with customers to understand business requirements and provide scalable technical solutions.
- Prepare solution architecture documents, technical proposals, effort estimations, and project plans.
- Design and review software frameworks, reusable libraries, coding standards, and best practices.
- Provide technical leadership and mentor development teams.
- Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical audits.
- Integrate hardware, software, databases, and third-party systems.
- Develop solutions involving Real-Time, FPGA, Vision, Motion Control, and Data Acquisition technologies.
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate National Instruments hardware and software solutions.




- Troubleshoot complex system-level issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and documentation processes.
- Support pre-sales activities, customer demonstrations, and technical workshops.
- Collaborate with hardware, firmware, mechanical, and system engineering teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 8–15+ years of experience in LabVIEW application development and system integration.
- Strong expertise in LabVIEW Architecture, Actor Framework, Queued Message Handler (QMH), and State Machine Architecture.
- Experience with Real-Time, FPGA, Vision, Motion Control, and Data Acquisition platforms.
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), version control, and release management.
- Experience in solution architecture, technical documentation, and customer interactions.
- Ability to lead technical teams and mentor engineers.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
