Job Description: Quality Assurance / Construction Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
- Drawing and Plan Verification:
- Review and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) drawings and plans.
- Ensure ongoing construction activities are executed in strict accordance with the approved drawings and specifications.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies between site execution and design documents, and ensure appropriate corrective measures are taken.
- Quality Issue Root Cause Analysis:
- Investigate quality-related issues to identify root causes and recurring problems in construction processes, materials, or workmanship.
- Coordinate with relevant departments (engineering, procurement, site execution) to implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor the effectiveness of corrective measures and ensure long-term resolution of issues.
- Design and Documentation Review:
- Participate in design reviews to ensure that quality requirements are considered in the early phases of the project.
- Analyze technical drawings, specifications, and other project documentation to ensure compliance with industry codes and standards.
- Provide input on constructability, material selection, and compliance with quality standards.
- Inspection and Quality Testing:
- Coordinate and perform inspections of incoming raw materials and completed construction works.
- Apply established quality assurance models (e.g., ISO, Six Sigma, or project-specific QA/QC plans) to validate compliance with project specifications and standards.
- Maintain thorough records of inspection results, test reports, non-conformance reports, and corrective actions.
