Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Business Development Manager to drive business growth in the environmental sector. The candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing client relationships, preparing proposals, and achieving revenue targets for environmental consulting, laboratory, monitoring, and operation & maintenance (O&M;) services.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and develop new business opportunities in environmental consulting and laboratory services.
- Promote services related to Environmental Monitoring, NABL Laboratory Testing, ETP/STP Operations & Maintenance, Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), Environmental Audits, and Sustainability Services.
- Generate leads through client meetings, networking, industrial visits, and market research.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with industries, government organizations, educational institutions, and consultants.
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals, quotations, tenders, and service agreements.
- Negotiate contracts and close business deals to achieve sales targets.
- Coordinate with technical, laboratory, and operations teams for project execution.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
- Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate sales reports, CRM records, and management MIS reports.




- Represent the company at exhibitions, conferences, and industry events.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience

- 5–10 years of experience in business development, preferably in the environmental, laboratory, pollution control, or sustainability sector.

Required Skills

- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Excellent client relationship management.
- Knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience in proposal preparation and tender management.
- Ability to achieve sales targets and generate new business.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
- Willingness to travel extensively.
