QUALIFICATION: Preferably B.SC(N)/GNM/Post B.sc(N).

EXPERIENCE: Having minimum 1-2years experience in patient care management in hospital.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintain discipline and silence at duty place and arrive for duty in time during duty hours remains present at your duty place.

She will fulfill all basic needs (hygienic need, nutritional need etc) of the patients.

Ensure that nursing procedures are carried out in accordance with vh protocol and guidelines and these procedures are evidence based.

Ensure availability of drugs and equipment’s required for each patient in time. Duty sister most know who is the consultant doctor & on call doctor for emergencies.





Attend to each patient every hour and share few words with his/her condition and measure vitals and record to same in the nursing chart.

Intake /output chart should be maintaining meticulously.

Give any sudden deterioration occurs in the patient condition, then immediately call for EMT by announcing code blue.
