KGISL Infrastructure is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Stores Incharge to oversee the efficient management of stores operations, inventory control, and material movement across construction projects. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the construction, infrastructure, or real estate industry, with sound knowledge of civil, electrical, plumbing, and MEP materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the central and site stores.
- Ensure proper receipt, inspection, storage, and issuance of materials.
- Maintain accurate stock records through ERP/software and physical registers.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of critical materials.
- Coordinate with the Purchase, Projects, Accounts, and Site teams for material planning and availability.
- Verify Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs), Material Issue Slips (MIS), delivery challans, and other store-related documents.
- Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Ensure proper storage practices to prevent material damage, deterioration, theft, or wastage.
- Maintain FIFO/FEFO principles wherever applicable.
- Monitor slow-moving, non-moving, and obsolete inventory and recommend appropriate actions.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and stock movement reports for management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and statutory requirements in stores operations.
- Supervise store assistants and helpers, assigning work and monitoring performance.
- Coordinate with vendors during material receipt and resolve discrepancies in quantity or quality.
- Maintain housekeeping, safety, and organization within the stores area.
- Support project teams by ensuring uninterrupted material availability and timely issuance.
- Handle inter-site material transfers and maintain proper documentation.
- Work closely with the Accounts team for stock reconciliation, invoice verification, and audit requirements.
- Assist during internal and external audits by providing inventory records and supporting documents.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Commerce, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Stores Incharge or Store Officer, preferably in construction or infrastructure projects.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally, or similar inventory management software).
- Strong knowledge of inventory management practices and documentation.

- Knowledge of inventory audit procedures and stock reconciliation.
- Familiarity with construction procurement and site logistics.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
