- Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility prior to appointments.
- Collect and enter accurate patient demographic and billing information into the system.
- Generate and process invoices, co-pays, and outstanding balances.
- Accept and process payments (cash, card, checks) and issue receipts.
- Answer billing-related inquiries from patients in person and over the phone.
- Coordinate with insurance companies to resolve billing discrepancies and denials.
