Role Overview

The Principal will hold complete academic leadership of the school. This is a rare opportunity to build on an established foundation while shaping a renewed institution's identity, systems, and team — ideal for a leader energized by building rather than maintaining. The role comes backed by committed management investment and a clear long-term vision.

Engagement Structure

We are offering a phased onboarding designed to fit around your current commitments:

- Advisory phase (October–November 2026 onwards): Light, part-time involvement — a few hours a week, remotely — to guide key early decisions such as faculty recruitment, admissions strategy, curriculum planning, and CBSE readiness.
- Full-time phase (April–May 2027): Full on-campus leadership as the school moves into operation.

This structure lets the right candidate transition smoothly from a current role while shaping the school's foundation from the outset.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide overall academic leadership in line with CBSE norms and affiliation requirements
- Recruit, mentor,



and lead a high-quality teaching and support team
- Design and implement curriculum, academic calendar, and assessment frameworks
- Drive student outcomes, discipline, and holistic development (academics, sports, co-curriculars)
- Build strong parent and community relationships and support admissions growth
- Ensure compliance with CBSE, state education, and safety/regulatory requirements
- Establish academic systems, policies, and a positive institutional culture
- Manage the academic budget and resources responsibly, in coordination with management and the Administrator

Requirements

- Master's degree with B.Ed. (M.Ed. preferred)
- Minimum 10 years in a leadership role (Principal / Vice-Principal / Academic Head) in a CBSE school
- Strong knowledge of CBSE curriculum, affiliation, and compliance processes
- Proven ability to build teams, drive academic results, and lead institutional growth
- Experience launching, relaunching, or turning around a school is highly valued (though not mandatory for an otherwise exceptional candidate)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to be based in or relocate to Kothagudem
