Job Description – Backend & OMS QA Automation Engineer (Payment Domain)

We are looking for an experienced Backend & OMS QA Automation Engineer with solid expertise in eCommerce Order Management Systems (OMS/MAO) and payment domain testing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience validating payment gateways, end-to-end order lifecycle workflows, backend integrations, and automation frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and execute automation test cases for backend applications and Order Management Systems.
- Validate end-to-end eCommerce order lifecycle, from order creation through fulfillment, shipment, and returns.
- Perform testing of payment gateways, payment processors, and transaction workflows.
- Validate integrations between OMS, payment systems, inventory, fulfillment, and other eCommerce platforms.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python.




- Create and execute SQL queries for backend data validation.
- Identify, report, and track defects while collaborating with development and product teams.
- Ensure high-quality releases through regression, integration, API, and backend validation testing.

Required Skills & Experience

- 5–7 years of Quality Engineering / QA Automation experience.
- Hands-on experience with MAO (Manhattan Active Omni) or any Order Management System (OMS).
- Strong experience validating eCommerce payment gateways and payment processors.
- Experience testing the complete order lifecycle in an eCommerce environment.
- Strong understanding of backend integrations across the eCommerce ecosystem.
- Experience automating end-to-end order lifecycle validation.
- Good knowledge of SQL for database validation.
- Hands-on programming experience with Python.
