Job Title: Plastic & Rubber Testing Engineer (NABL Laboratory)

Job Description:

Are you an expert in Polymer science and material characterization?

Metalab Analytical Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a skilled Plastic & Rubber Testing Engineer to join our NABL-accredited laboratory in Ahmedabad. We need a professional who understands the science of polymers and can ensure high precision in testing.

- Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat
- Industry: Testing & Analytical Services (3rd Party Service Laboratory)
- Role: Laboratory Operations (Service Unit - NOT Production)
- Salary Range: INR 1,50,000 to INR 4,20,000 per annum (Depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform and supervise testing on Plastic and Rubber samples (Density, Specific Gravity, Ash Content, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with instruments like TGA (Thermogravimetric Analysis), DSC, and FTIR.
- Review and verify test reports as per IS, ASTM, and ISO standards.
- Manage NABL documentation (ISO/IEC 17025),



including SOPs, calibration records, and uncertainty calculations.
- Support internal audits and method validation.

Who Should Apply?

- Education: B.E. / B.Tech, Diploma, or ITI in Polymer / Plastics & Rubber Engineering.
- Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience in a 3rd party testing lab (NABL experience preferred).
- Skills: Robust technical knowledge of rubber compounding, plastic properties, and laboratory safety.
