We are a Chartered Accountancy firm specializing in accounting, taxation, and compliance services for small and medium enterprises (SMEs). We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Executive to manage end-to-end bookkeeping and statutory compliance for a portfolio of client businesses.

Key Responsibilities

Books & Bookkeeping

- Collect financial documents, invoices, bank statements, and vouchers from client SMEs on a periodic basis
- Record day-to-day transactions in Tally
- Maintain sales, purchase, expense, and bank reconciliation registers
- Ensure books are updated and audit-ready at all times

GST Compliance

- Prepare and file monthly/quarterly GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9)
- Reconcile GSTR-2B/2A with purchase register (ITC reconciliation)
- Handle GST registration, amendments, and respond to basic notices

TDS Compliance

- Compute TDS liability and ensure timely deposit of TDS/TCS
- Prepare and file quarterly TDS returns (24Q, 26Q, 27Q)
- Issue TDS certificates (Form 16/16A) and resolve mismatches on TRACES

Income Tax / ITR

- Prepare and file Income Tax Returns for individuals, firms, and companies
- Compute advance tax and assist clients with tax planning
- Handle tax audit documentation (Form 3CA/3CB-3CD) support

Client Coordination





- Liaise with clients for document collection and query resolution
- Maintain a tracker of due dates and ensure zero compliance delays
- Escalate complex issues to seniors/partners promptly

Required Skills & Qualifications

- B.Com/M.Com/CA-Inter/CMA-Inter (or equivalent)
- Working knowledge of Tally, Zoho Books, or similar accounting software
- Practical experience in GST return filing, TDS compliance, and ITR filing
- Familiarity with GST portal, Income Tax portal, and TRACES
- Good understanding of accounting principles and basic direct/indirect tax laws
- Proficient in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic reconciliation)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple clients/deadlines

Preferred

- Prior experience working in a CA firm
- Exposure to multiple industries/SME segments
- Good communication skills for client-facing coordination
