About the Role
We are hiring a Sales Manager to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth for our Kannur operations. This is not a desk job. You will spend 50%+ of your time in the field—building partnerships with local associations, corporates, colleges, and community groups while also owning social media lead conversion and managing a small on-site sales team.

You will report to the Branch Manager and work closely with senior operations staff (WFH) to ensure smooth execution.

What You’ll Do

Field Sales & Business Development

- Build relationships with:
- Associations (Rotary, Lions, JCI, Chamber of Commerce)
- Religious & community groups (Church parishes, Temple trusts, Muslim Jamaath, SNDP)
- Corporates, colleges, NGOs, IMA, Hotel Owners' Association
- Offer exclusive travel benefits and annual travel contracts
- Conduct external meetings—minimum 8–10 per week

Social Media Enquiry Management

- Track every comment, DM, and lead from Instagram/Facebook/WhatsApp
- Ensure first response within 15 minutes (9 AM – 7 PM)
- Maintain a central tracking sheet (Excel/Google Sheets) with:
- Source, customer contact, destination, budget
- Status: Current → Proposal Sent → Follow-up → Won/Lost




- Lost reason code (Price / Response time / Competitor / etc.)

Conversion Optimization

- Weekly review of enquiry-to-sale funnel
- Identify top 3 reasons for lost deals and fix them
- Use WhatsApp quick-reply templates and auto-reminders for follow-ups

Team Coordination

- Work with 2 on-site staff to ensure SLA adherence
- Escalate complex international quotes to senior WFH staff
- Train team on qualification questions (budget, dates, group size)

Vendor & Customer Support

- Negotiate with hotels, DMCs, transport providers for better rates
- Ensure post-sales happiness: pre-trip briefings, itinerary handover, 24/7 support
- Collect video/testimonial feedback from happy customers

What We’re Looking For

- 3+ years in sales (travel, tourism, or hospitality preferred)
- Proven track record of closing leads from social media or field channels
- Hungry, self-starter who enjoys meeting people daily
- Disciplined with tracking and follow-ups (Excel/Google Sheets)
- Fluent in Malayalam & English
- Local to Kannur or willing to work field-intensive role

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
