Exp -Minimum 2 to 3 years
Qualification - NIFT / PEARL or any equivalent institute preferred.
Salary - will commensurate with exp. and no bar for the right candidate.

Job description

- Should have a passion for designing and an eye for fashion.
- Should have worked in the role of a Senior Designer at in a mid to large sized Garment Export company
- Should be able to handle and lead design department independently along with 2 direct reporting assistants.
- Should be able to handle design sampling department and a team of pattern makers, embroiders and other support functions independently. This shall require coordination with pattern makers, embroiders etc.
- Should have Sound knowledge of fashion trends and should be able to create mood boards and prepare forecasts& Line sheets and send to the company’s USA office.
- Should be positive at preparing a range,especially for children’s wear, independently.
- Candidate is expected to liaise with the USA office on weekly basis and keep them updated on the progress and status.
- Exp with denim washes, Hand and computer embroideries along with knowledge on costings.
