Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic professional to support strategic initiatives in the areas of Operational Technology cybersecurity, process automation, stakeholder engagement, training, and program execution. The role requires a blend of technical understanding, process orientation, communication skills, and the ability to work with OEM, industry, government, critical sector organisations, technology partners, and internal teams.
The person will support the design and execution of cybersecurity programs, especially around OT/ICS security, automation-led process improvements, training delivery, ecosystem engagement, and knowledge initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
OT Cybersecurity Program Support
- Support initiatives related to OT/ICS cybersecurity across critical sectors such as power, oil & gas, manufacturing, utilities, transport, and other cyber-physical environments.
- Assist in developing program content around: OT security fundamentals/IT-OT convergence/Industrial control systems and SCADA environments/OT SOC, monitoring, visibility, and detection/Incident response and resilience in OT environments/Supply chain and vendor risk in industrial systems/Standards and frameworks such as IEC 62443, NIST, ISO 27001, and sectoral guidelines
- Coordinate with technology partners, OEMs, sector organisations, and internal teams for workshops, lab sessions, tabletop exercises, and knowledge programs
Stakeholder Engagement
- Support engagement with senior stakeholders across government, industry, academia, startups, OEMs, cybersecurity companies, and critical sector organisations.
Training and Capacity Building
- Support the design and delivery of training programs on OT cybersecurity, cyber hygiene, process security, and emerging technology risks.
- Assist in preparing:
Training decks /Participant handbooks/Lab walkthrough material/Case studies/Tabletop exercise scenarios/Assessment questionnaires/Feedback reports
- The candidate should be comfortable speaking to mixed audiences including technical teams, business leaders, government officials, and sector professionals.
Content, Research and Documentation
- Support the preparation of concept notes, proposals, knowledge papers, event agendas, session briefs, speaker notes, and executive summaries.
- Conduct secondary research on OT cybersecurity, industrial automation, critical infrastructure protection, AI in cybersecurity, regulatory developments, and sectoral cyber risks.
- Develop crisp, well-structured communication material for internal and external stakeholders.
Required Skills and Experience
Technical / Domain Skills
- Understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals
- Positive awareness of OT/ICS cybersecurity concepts
- Basic understanding of SCADA, PLCs, industrial networks, OT SOC, and IT-OT convergence
- Understanding of Defense in depth for OT environments
- Familiarity with cybersecurity standards and frameworks such as IEC 62443, NIST, ISO 27001, MITRE ATT&CK; for ICS, etc.
- Deep Understanding of Process automation, Instrumentation and control systems.
- Ability to work with data, trackers, reports, and structured documentation
Communication Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Process and Execution Skills
- Strong coordination ability
- Ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously
- Detail-oriented and deadline-driven
Preferred Qualifications
- B.Tech / B.E. – Electronics/Instrumentation/Electrical, M.Tech / MBA / Cybersecurity-related qualification
- 2–7 years of experience in cybersecurity, OT security, industrial automation, consulting, program management, or stakeholder engagement
- Certifications such as ISO 27001, IEC 62443 awareness, CEH, CompTIA Security+, GICSP, CISSP, CISA, or similar would be an added advantage
- Prior exposure on working for critical sector projects.
