What would you do?

Record to Report encompasses the steps involved in preparing and reporting financial results. It covers a broad spectrum of activities within general accounting including, but not limited to, month-end closing, manual journals, and balance sheet reconciliations. RTR deliverables also cover multiple & complex accounting tasks transitioned from onshore locations. The successful candidate will work within the Record to Report team in Finance Operations. Key business deliverables include:

- Financial Accounting & Reporting for specific Accenture Entities-processes with an impact on P&L;/B-S & other financial disclosures
- Understanding all financial, technical & operational issues along with their potential impacts




- Ensuring integrity and completeness of financial records and ensuring compliance with Company policies & deadlines
- Responsible for the monthly, quarterly and year-end financial deliverables & their reporting together with variance analysis & commentaries
- Providing analysis & insights on accounts while presenting to various stakeholders
- Engage & collaborate with multiple stakeholders located in different countries & regions
- Reasonable understanding of US GAAP, IFRS, recent accounting & auditing pronouncements
- Contributing for other Ad Hoc deliverables like Business Continuity Management (BCM) testing, IFRS convergence (from local/US GAAP) as required at location level
- Drive Standardization & Process Improvements in respective functional area
- Understands business implications of tactical decisions, displays orientation to cost savings, efficiency

What are we looking for?

- Time Management & Planning: Ability to work with tight deadlines. Demonstrate established competencies in planning and organizing - needs to be a well-organized self-starter who can develop realistic action plans
- Good Analytical Skills: Collects and researches data; applies knowledge, intuition and experience to correctly analyse the data collected and finds solutions
- Effective Communication skills: Business Communication: The incumbent needs to possess effective interpersonal, written & verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of VBA/Macro development (desired), SAP/ERP, Blackline & other reconciliation tools would be an added advantage

The potential candidate needs to be adaptable to work as per client time zone.
