Production-Assistant Manager

Job Summary

Responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising manufacturing activities to ensure production targets, quality standards, cost control, and timely delivery are achieved efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and manage daily production operations to meet customer requirements.

- Monitor production schedules, manpower, machine utilization, and productivity.

- Ensure product quality standards and process compliance are maintained.

- Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce rejection/rework.

- Coordinate with quality, purchase, maintenance, stores, and dispatch teams.

- Control production costs, wastage, and downtime.

- Lead and motivate production teams to achieve operational goals.

- Ensure safety standards, 5S, and company policies are followed on the shop floor.





- Prepare production reports, MIS data, and performance analysis.

- Handle customer audits and support continuous improvement activities.

Qualification

Bachelor’s/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related engineering field.

Experience

5+ years of experience in manufacturing/production operations.

Preferred Industry

Automotive / Wiring Harness / Electrical Manufacturing Industry.
