The SU Square Ventures Electrician Profile

We are not looking for someone who wants to do just one job. We are looking for individuals who are willing to learn, ready to adapt, and excited to grow across multiple electrical disciplines — from building wiring to solar installations, from telecom infrastructure to industrial panels. If you have the passion to work and the willingness to learn, we will provide the training, the tools, and the local job.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & WORK PROFILES

1. Building & Residential Electrical Works

- Carry out internal wiring, conduit installation, cable pulling, and DB (Distribution Board) connections in residential and commercial buildings.
- Install switches, sockets, light fittings, fans, exhaust systems, and other electrical accessories.
- Assist in testing, fault-finding, and repair of electrical circuits under supervision.

2. Solar Electrical Works

- Assist in installation of solar panels, inverters, charge controllers, and battery systems.
- Carry out DC and AC wiring for rooftop solar and ground-mounted solar installations.
- Support commissioning activities and basic performance checks of solar systems.

3. Telecom & Infrastructure Electrical Works

- Assist in electrical works at mobile tower and telecom infrastructure sites.
- Carry out earthing, DG set cabling, battery room wiring, and power distribution at tower sites.
- Support senior electricians during installation and testing at telecom sites.

4. Industrial & Commercial Electrical Works

- Assist in panel wiring, motor connections, MCCB/MCB installation, and cable terminations.
- Support maintenance works including inspection, testing, and replacement of electrical components.
- Carry out preventive maintenance tasks as directed by supervisors.

5. Facilities & MEP Support

- Provide electrical support for facilities management clients including offices, malls, and institutions.
- Respond to breakdown calls, carry out fault diagnosis, and execute repairs promptly.
- Maintain records of works completed and materials used at assigned facilities.

6. Safety & Housekeeping

- Follow all site safety procedures and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness at the work site and store tools properly after use.
- Attend and actively participate in daily toolbox talks and safety briefings.

ELIGIBILITY & REQUIREMENTS

- ITI / ITC Certificate or Polytechnic Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognised institution.
- Freshers are welcome — no prior work experience required; training will be provided.
- Basic understanding of electrical concepts, safety, and wiring practices from academic training.
- Physically fit and willing to work in office, including heights, outdoor environments, and variable conditions.
- Willingness to work across multiple job profiles and accept deployment to any location within Kerala.
- Positive attitude, eagerness to learn,



and ability to follow instructions from supervisors.
- Basic communication skills in Malayalam; knowledge of English and Hindi is an added advantage.
- License to drive 2 wheel or 4 wheel is an added advantage.

Electrical Site Engineer: JOB SUMMARY

SU Square Projects and Infrastructure Private Limited is seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Site Engineer with a proven track record in high-rise building projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, supervising, and overseeing all electrical works at the project site — ensuring compliance with safety standards, project timelines, and quality benchmarks.

This is a site-based role requiring hands-on leadership, technical expertise in electrical systems for multi-storey structures, and the ability to coordinate effectively with civil, MEP, and project management teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Site Supervision & Execution

- Supervise and execute all electrical works in office including HT/LT cabling, panel installations, earthing, and lighting systems.
- Monitor daily site activities, direct electricians and sub-contractors, and ensure work is completed as per approved drawings.
- Conduct regular site inspections to verify quality, accuracy, and compliance with design specifications.
- Coordinate electrical works with civil, structural, and mechanical teams to avoid conflicts and ensure smooth project flow.

2. High-Rise Building Electrical Systems

- Install and commission electrical infrastructure including bus ducts, rising mains, distribution boards, and emergency power systems.
- Oversee fire alarm, PA system, ELV (Extra Low Voltage), CCTV, BMS integration, and elevator electrical interfaces.
- Manage transformer installations, DG sets, UPS systems, and solar/renewable energy interfaces
- Ensure proper cable management, conduit installation, and containment routing across all floors of high-rise structures.

3. Quality Assurance & Testing

- Carry out testing and commissioning of all electrical installations including continuity tests, insulation resistance, and earth loop tests.
- Ensure all works meet applicable standards: IS/IEC codes, NBC guidelines, and client specifications.
- Identify and resolve site deficiencies, non-conformances, and snag items before handover.
- Maintain quality records, inspection checklists, and material test certificates.

4. Safety & HSE Compliance

- Enforce strict adherence to Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policies at all times on site.
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings,



and ensure all electrical personnel use appropriate PPE.
- Ensure electrical installations are safe and compliant with local regulations, fire safety norms, and OSHA guidelines.
- Identify and mitigate electrical hazards proactively on the construction site.

5. Planning, Scheduling & Progress Monitoring

- Study project drawings, BOQs, and specifications to plan site activities and resource requirements.
- Track project progress against planned schedules and report deviations to the Project Manager with mitigation plans.
- Coordinate material procurement, delivery schedules, and on-site inventory to avoid work stoppages.
- Prepare and submit Daily Progress Reports (DPR), weekly site reports, and material reconciliation statements.

6. Documentation & Coordination

- Maintain all site-level documentation including Method Statements, Risk Assessments, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and As-Built drawings.
- Liaise with Architects ,consultants, client representatives, and project stakeholders during inspections and site meetings.
- Process and follow up on Requests for Information (RFIs) and site queries with the design/engineering team.
- Support the preparation of subcontractor billing, material reconciliation, and project progress invoices.

REQUIREMENTS

- B.Tech / B.E. in Electrical Engineering from a recognised university.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as an Electrical Site Engineer, specifically in high-rise or multi-storey building projects.
- Solid knowledge of HT/LT systems, cable sizing, load calculations, and panel engineering.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical drawings, single-line diagrams (SLD), and layout plans.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD for drawing review and mark-ups.
- Working knowledge of NBC (National Building Code), IS/IEC electrical standards, and local utility requirements.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) for reporting and documentation.
- Excellent site coordination, team management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English , Malayalam and Hindi
- Willingness to work full-time on active construction sites.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Electrical Supervisory Licence or relevant certification from the Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) or equivalent authority.
- Experience in LEED / IGBC green building projects is an advantage.
- Familiarity with BMS (Building Management Systems) and smart building electrical interfaces.
- Prior exposure to commercial complexes, or hospitality projects.
- Knowledge of Zoho Projects or similar project management tools.
