Job Summary

- Clinical Associate to assess patients vitals and history and document

the same in proper order.

- Taking clinical rounds of patient and accompany primary and referring

consultant on their rounds and convey the orders to assigned staff and

keep track on the same.

- Clinical Associate to channelize for discharge of patient one told fit for

discharge by consultant.

Job Profile

- Receive the patient, examine her, writing history and findings in the indoor case sheet. To take patients &/or relatives Signature for authentication of information provided and noted.

- Inform and co-ordinate with primary consultants regarding patient admission and plan of care.

- Decide investigation to be done and treatment to be carried out

- To follow up on investigation reports and communicate the results to primary consultants.

- To take appropriate actions in emergency situations and treat the patient in consultation with the primary consultant.





- To take detailed daily rounds at the time of reporting and leaving duty, to write relevant dates and time in progress note.

- Follow all medico legal formalities.

- To work in coordinator with staff nurse and colleague doctors to perform detailed handing over of the patient to the next duty doctor.

- To counsel and inform patients condition to patient &/or relatives as and when required.

- Prepare the patients for procedure and operations

- Explain the procedure, alternatives and the associated risk to patients and her relatives.

- Coordinate the discharge of the patients with primary consultants and nursing staff.

Prepare discharge summary and explain the same to patients.

Qualification

MBBS , MD/DNB

Experience

2-5 years of clinical experience in a reputed institution preferably with Obstetrics experience
