About the Boutique

We are a growing boutique in Kottayam specializing in customized outfits and designer wear. We are looking for a creative, passionate, and detail-oriented Fashion Designer to create unique designs, assist customers with customization, and contribute to delivering high-quality fashion products.

Key Responsibilities

- Design customized outfits based on customer requirements and current fashion trends.
- Develop sketches, design concepts, and garment specifications.
- Select suitable fabrics, colors, embellishments, and accessories.
- Coordinate with tailors and production staff to ensure accurate execution of designs.
- Conduct customer consultations for measurements, styling, and customization.
- Stay updated with the latest fashion trends and market preferences.
- Maintain design records and ensure timely completion of orders.
- Ensure high standards of quality, creativity, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

- Diploma, Degree, or Certification in Fashion Designing or a related field.




- Proficiency in fashion sketching and garment construction.
- Knowledge of fabrics, patterns, embroidery, and tailoring techniques.
- Basic computer skills (MS Office; knowledge of fashion design software is an advantage).
- Strong creativity, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Valuable communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional attitude, punctuality, and willingness to learn.

Preferred Candidate

- Previous experience in a boutique, designer studio, or ladies' fashion store.
- Knowledge of bridal wear, ethnic wear, and customized clothing.
- Creative mindset with a strong sense of style and fashion trends.
- Customer-friendly and able to understand individual design preferences.
