The quality of school education available to students from low-income communities across India is abysmal. Their chances of attending college or building a career are significantly lower than their high-income peers, condemning them to a life without voice or choice. iTeach was born in 2015 to challenge this status quo and create a level playing field for ALL children.

Responsibilities:

This role is for someone who loves stories, enjoys creating content, and wants their work to mean something. As a Communications Associate, you will help bring iTeach’s classrooms, people, and purpose to life across digital platforms.

Social Media Management:

- Plan and execute social media content on Instagram and LinkedIn with a clear sense of purpose and audience.
- Design and run campaigns that support recruitment, volunteering, and awareness of iTeach’s work.
- Write thoughtful captions, create posts, and edit short-form videos or reels.
- Track performance and use insights to refine content and storytelling.
- Build and maintain a robust content bank of photos, videos, and stories from schools.





Collateral Creation:

- Write stories of impact from classrooms, teachers, alumni, and school leaders.
- Support creation of collaterals like reports, posters, presentations, and digital assets.

Website & Digital Marketing:

- Update and maintain the website with powerful stories and information, along with basic SEO hygiene.
- Support drafting, designing, and distributing monthly newsletters.
- Research and implement Google Ads and basic SEM

Cross-Team Collaboration:

- Work closely with fundraising, recruitment, and program teams to surface meaningful stories.
- Support events, school visits, and key moments through live coverage and content capture.

Prerequisites

- Required: Bachelor’s degree.
- Preferred: 0–2 years of communications or social media experience.
- Strong writing skills and comfort with digital tools (Canva, Meta tools, basic video editing).
- Creative mindset with the ability to meet tight timelines.

Compensation and Benefits: We take pride in offering competitive compensation and benefits commensurate with the candidate's education and work experience. The salary range for this position ranges from 40k - 50k pm (CTC), and we are dedicated to providing top-notch industry benefits.
