Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Microbiology Officer to join our Quality Control team. The candidate must have hands-on experience in a pharmaceutical finished formulation manufacturing facility and should possess sound knowledge of microbiological testing, environmental monitoring, and Valuable Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Key Responsibilities

- Perform microbiological testing of finished products, raw materials, purified water, and environmental samples.
- Conduct Environmental Monitoring (EM) of manufacturing areas, including air, surface, and personnel monitoring.
- Carry out microbial limit tests and sterility-related testing as applicable.
- Perform culture media preparation, sterilization, growth promotion testing, and media qualification.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain microbiology laboratory instruments.
- Maintain microbial cultures and reference organisms according to SOPs.
- Prepare and maintain microbiology records, logbooks, test reports,



and documentation in compliance with GMP and data integrity requirements.
- Investigate Out-of-Specification (OOS), Out-of-Trend (OOT), and microbiological deviations, and support CAPA implementation.
- Participate in laboratory investigations, validations, qualifications, and method verification.
- Ensure compliance with WHO-GMP, GLP, and internal quality systems.
- Assist during internal, external, customer, and regulatory audits.
- Ensure laboratory housekeeping and adherence to safety procedures.

Required Qualifications

- B.Sc./M.Sc. in Microbiology or an equivalent Life Sciences qualification.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a pharmaceutical finished formulation manufacturing company.
- Experience working with products such as Tablets, Capsules, Oral Liquids, Ointments, and Powders is mandatory.
- Solid understanding of microbiological techniques, aseptic practices, and contamination control.
- Working knowledge of WHO-GMP, GLP, SOPs, and regulatory guidelines.
- Good documentation practices (GDP) and data integrity knowledge.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and laboratory documentation.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
