About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and motivated Career Development Facilitator to mentor and guide underserved youth as they begin their employability journey.

This is a field-based role requiring regular travel across multiple Lighthouse Centres within the assigned region. You will facilitate our Foundation Course, conduct career assessments and counseling sessions, and help students identify suitable skilling pathways based on their aspirations and strengths.

Key Responsibilities

- Facilitate the Foundation Course for newly enrolled youth across assigned Lighthouse Centres.
- Deliver engaging sessions on life skills, self-awareness, career readiness, and personal development.
- Conduct career assessments and one-on-one counseling sessions to help students make informed career decisions.
- Guide students in identifying appropriate skilling courses aligned with their interests and career goals.
- Monitor student attendance, participation, and overall progress throughout the Foundation Course.
- Maintain accurate records of assessments, counseling sessions, and student progress.




- Collaborate with Centre teams to ensure effective program delivery and student engagement.
- Support other program initiatives and activities as required.

Eligibility

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Training, or a related field.
- Postgraduates from other disciplines with relevant facilitation or counseling experience are also encouraged to apply.
- Freshers with internship experience in counseling, facilitation, or youth engagement are welcome to apply.

Preferred Experience & Skills

- 1–2 years of experience in facilitation, career counseling, training, or youth development.
- Ability to facilitate sessions for groups of 25–30 participants.
- Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Empathetic, student-centric, and passionate about creating social impact.
- Ability to build trust and positively influence young people.
- Proficiency in the regional language, Hindi, and English.
- Good documentation and organizational skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
