Job Summary

The Computer Software Trainer is responsible for delivering high-quality training in computer applications, software development, and IT-related subjects. The trainer will develop students' technical skills through classroom instruction, practical laboratory sessions, assignments, and project-based learning while ensuring alignment with industry standards and curriculum requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver classroom and practical training in computer software and IT-related subjects.
- Teach programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL (as per curriculum).
- Train students in office productivity tools including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
- Conduct practical sessions on database management, web development, software applications, and basic networking concepts.
- Prepare lesson plans, training materials, presentations, assignments, and laboratory exercises.
- Assess students through tests, practical examinations, projects, and assignments.
- Monitor student attendance, performance, and progress, providing guidance where required.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, software installations, and ensure systems are ready for practical sessions.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies, software tools, and industry trends.
- Organize workshops, coding competitions, seminars, hackathons, and technical demonstrations.
- Mentor students in project development and career readiness.
- Maintain academic records, reports, and documentation as required by the institute.
- Follow institutional policies regarding discipline, safety, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to improve curriculum delivery and learning outcomes.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Applications (BCA), B.Tech./B.E. (CSE/IT), MCA, M.Sc. (Computer Science), or equivalent.




- Relevant teaching or industry experience is preferred.
- Certifications in Microsoft, Oracle, Cisco, Python, AWS, Google, or other relevant technologies will be an added advantage.

Required SkillsTechnical Skills

- Programming Languages (C, C++, Java, Python)
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Database Management (MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle)
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Operating Systems (Windows/Linux)
- Basic Networking
- Software Installation and Troubleshooting
- Version Control (Git) – Preferred
- Knowledge of AI tools and cloud computing is desirable.
