Orbix Overseas Careers is a trusted name in overseas education and career consulting, helping students and professionals achieve their global aspirations. We're looking for an experienced Team Lead to head our Migration department and drive team performance.

About the Role

We're seeking a results-driven Team Lead – Migration to oversee a team of immigration/migration consultants, ensuring smooth case processing, high conversion rates, and consistent client satisfaction. The ideal candidate combines strong immigration domain knowledge with proven people-management skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of migration consultants to achieve individual and team targets
- Oversee end-to-end case management for student, work, and PR visa applications across assigned countries
- Monitor team performance metrics, conversion rates, and case approval ratios; report to management regularly
- Handle escalated or complex cases requiring senior-level intervention
- Ensure team compliance with updated immigration policies and documentation standards
- Conduct regular training sessions to upskill team members on process changes and best practices
- Review and approve client documentation before final submission
- Coordinate with sales/counseling teams to ensure smooth lead-to-case handoff
- Maintain accurate team and case records within the CRM system




- Drive process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce case turnaround time
- Conduct performance reviews and support recruitment/onboarding of current team members

Requirements

- Minimum 3 years of experience in immigration/migration consulting, with at least 1 year in a team lead or supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of visa and immigration processes for key destination countries (Canada, UK, Australia, USA, Europe, etc.)
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team toward targets
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and case-documentation accuracy
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems
- Bachelor's degree required; immigration-related certifications are a plus

Preferred Skills

- Experience managing high-volume case pipelines in an overseas education/immigration consultancy
- Multilingual ability (English + regional languages) is an advantage
- Prior experience in target-driven, KPI-based environments
