Job Descritpion of Alfresco Developer

8+ Years of Relevant Experience

We are seeking a seasoned Alfresco Developer responsible for the design, development, enhancement, and support of enterprise-level content management solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of the Alfresco platform, associated architectural components, and integration with Azure Cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and participate in the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of Alfresco-based solutions.
- Work across the Alfresco Content Services (ACS), Alfresco Process Services (APS), and Alfresco Governance Services (AGS).
- Develop solutions using Alfresco REST APIs, Spring Framework, and Alfresco Development Framework (ADF).
- Design secure and scalable content models, taxonomies, and access control frameworks.
- Implement containerized applications using Docker and manage deployments in Azure App Services or similar platforms.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, ensuring alignment with quality and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams to deliver robust ECM solutions.
- Provide L3 support, performance tuning, and ongoing optimizations as needed.





Must-Have Skills:

- Extensive experience with Alfresco fundamentals: architecture, content/object model, taxonomy, security, and configuration.
- Strong hands-on expertise with:
- Alfresco REST APIs
- Alfresco Development Framework (ADF)
- Java and Spring Framework
- Containerization (Docker)
- Alfresco Infrastructure and Deployment

- Deep understanding of:

- Alfresco Content Services (ACS)
- Alfresco Process Services (APS)
- Alfresco Governance Services (AGS)

- Ability to architect, design, and implement complex Alfresco-based solutions with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Positive-to-Have Skills:

- Azure Development experience, including:
- Azure Functions
- Azure App Service
- Docker on Azure

- Experience with JEE, Kubernetes, and other enterprise-level application platforms.
- Exposure to Agile methodologies and collaborative DevOps environments.
