Responsibilities
- Perform installation and commissioning (IC) of network devices such as routers, switches, modems, and media converters.
- Provide in office troubleshooting for link and device-level issues (L1 support).
- Coordinate with NOC / L2 teams for escalations and remote guidance.
- Conduct link testing (PING / traceroute / loopback / media check) and validate service performance.
- Handle fiber, copper, and wireless last-mile connectivity checks with field partners or ISPs.
- Maintain proper documentation of incidents, call logs, and site visit reports.
- Support migration, cutover, and upgrade activities under supervision.
- Ensure timely resolution of faults as per SLA; update ticketing tools (INC / SR).
- Coordinate with vendors and facility teams for site access and maintenance schedules.
- Follow standard safety, EHS, and DC access protocols while working at customer premises.
