Profile: Limnologist-Ahmedabad-4.0 LPA

Experience:

- 2+ years of practical experience in limnology, water quality monitoring, or aquatic ecosystem management.

- Experience working on ponds, lakes or natural water bodies restoration projects preferred.

Salary Range: 30k - 33k

Roles:

- Conduct scientific limnological surveys of ponds, lakes and water bodies.

- Collect and analyse water and sediment samples to assess ecological health.

- Develop and implement pond remediation and cleansing plans based on data.

- Coordinate with project teams to optimize the use of technologies like nanobubble/sonic aeration for water improvement.

- Prepare detailed technical reports and recommendations for internal teams and clients.

- Monitor ecological responses post-cleansing interventions and support adaptive strategies.

- Engage with local stakeholders and convey project impact clearly.

Qualification:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Limnology, Ecology, Aquatic Biology or related field.

- BSc Microbiology, or Environmental science would also do.

- Robust understanding of freshwater ecosystem science and water quality parameters.
