POSITION SUMMARY

Vertiv is building a Finance Data & AI Analytics capability in Pune.

This Senior Manager will lead a team of four and own the delivery, governance, and continuous improvement of Finance BI reporting and AI/ML analytics across global and regional Finance stakeholders.

The role combines team leadership , data product management , and practical AI/ML enablement to simplify reporting, eliminate manual work, and accelerate insight generation across the company.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Delivery

- Lead and develop a high‑performing analytics team in Pune.
- Manage intake, prioritization, and delivery of BI and analytics initiatives for global Finance partners.
- Oversee delivery of governed data products, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and reliability.

Data, Reporting & BI

- Drive the development and enhancement of finance dashboards, KPIs, and standardized reporting.
- Ensure datasets and models follow enterprise governance, documentation, and certification standards.
- Partner with Finance stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable data solutions.
- Champion the adoption of machine learning, anomaly detection, forecasting, and LLM‑based automation.
- Establish foundations for model development, testing, deployment, and monitoring.




- Identify opportunities to replace manual workflows with intelligent automation.
- Run a structured intake and prioritization process with clear SLAs and communication.
- Standardize KPI definitions and retire conflicting or redundant reporting.
Promote up-to-date development practices, data quality, and performance optimization.

Qualifications

Minimum

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Finance, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- 12 to 16 years in analytics, data platforms, BI, or related fields, including leadership experience.
- Strong working knowledge of SQL, cloud data platforms, and BI tools.
- Demonstrated experience delivering analytics in a complex, multi‑stakeholder environment.
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage priorities, and drive decision‑ready insights.

Preferred

- Background supporting Finance functions (FP&A;, Operations Finance, Commercial Finance).
- Experience applying AI/ML/LLM techniques to real business problems.
Excellent communication and executive‑ready presentation skills.

Travel Requirements: 10-15%
