Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Current Product Development (NPD) Engineer with 2–3 years of experience in product development and manufacturing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing complete NPD activities from customer RFQ to successful production launch by coordinating with cross-functional teams while ensuring Quality, Cost, Delivery (QCD), and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end New Product Development (NPD) projects from RFQ to SOP (Start of Production).
- Review customer drawings, CAD models, specifications, and technical requirements.
- Conduct product feasibility studies and prepare technical proposals.
- Develop new products by coordinating with Design, Production, Quality, Purchase, Tool Room, and Supplier teams.
- Prepare and maintain BOM, Process Flow, SOP, Work Instructions, and Engineering Documentation.
- Create and review APQP documents including PPAP, PFMEA, DFMEA, Control Plan, MSA, and SPC.
- Coordinate prototype manufacturing, sample submission, product validation, and trial activities.
- Ensure timely customer sample submission and production readiness.
- Support Engineering Change Requests (ECR) and Engineering Change Notices (ECN).
- Perform Root Cause Analysis using 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, and implement corrective actions.
- Drive continuous improvement, cost reduction, and productivity enhancement initiatives.




- Monitor project timelines and ensure on-time delivery of new product launches.
- Collaborate with customers and suppliers for technical discussions and project execution.
- Ensure compliance with customer standards, ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 requirements, and internal quality systems.
- Support manufacturing during pilot production and resolve technical issues for smooth mass production.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Manufacturing, or Automobile Engineering.
- 2–3 years of experience in New Product Development (NPD) within a manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of product development processes and manufacturing techniques.
- Experience in customer handling and cross-functional project coordination.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
