Shift: Night Shift | 6:00 PM – 3:00 AM (Monday–Friday) (Shift timings may be revised based on business requirements.)

Job Summary

The Team Leader – Payment Posting will lead a team of Payment Posting Executives to ensure accurate and timely posting of insurance and patient payments while meeting client SLAs, quality standards, and productivity targets within the US Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, mentor, and monitor a team of Payment Posting Executives to achieve operational goals.
- Ensure timely and accurate posting of ERA, EFT, insurance, and patient payments.
- Monitor productivity, quality, TAT, SLA compliance, and queue management.
- Review payment batches, resolve posting exceptions, and ensure accurate deposit reconciliation.
- Process adjustments, refunds, reversals, recoupments, and write-offs as per client guidelines.
- Publish operational MIS reports and escalate critical issues to management.
- Drive process improvements, compliance, and team performance through regular coaching and feedback.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- 4–7 years of experience in US Healthcare RCM.
- Minimum 2 years of Payment Posting experience.
- Minimum 1 year of team handling experience.
- Experience in Physician and/or Hospital Billing will be preferred.

Technical Skills

- Strong knowledge of Payment Posting, ERA/EFT, Cash Applications, Deposit Reconciliation, Credit Balance Management, Refund Processing, and Insurance Payment Analysis.
- Experience with Practice Management Systems such as Athena, eClinicalWorks, NextGen, Kareo, AdvancedMD, Greenway, or similar.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, reporting).
