JD-Quality Engineer

Reporting to: Project manager OR Regional Manager

Candidate from manufacturing / Automotive.

Bond Requirement: Candidate must be willing to sign a 1-year employment bond with Client.

Location: Pune

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications & Experience

- Diploma or Engineering Degree (or higher), (Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering)
- Experience in Quality Development function
- Minimum 2 to 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment; (Experience in Automotive sector preferred)
- Experience of inspection of components and assemblies
- Basic knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949
- Knowledge of APQP& PPAP (quality management frameworks)
- Experienced in MS tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project);

Knowledge & Competencies

- Experience in handling measuring instruments, equipment’s and gauges and doing inspection.
- Knowledge of inspection standards and incoming inspection
- Experience in verifying Test certificates, functional tests for various components
- Robust project management skills;
- Strong problem-solving skills;
- Flexible and willing to work in Matrix organisation structure





Soft Skills

- Capable to work in team and independently too;
- Advanced oral and written communication skills, including the ability to write technical reports and presentations;
- Good command of English
- Prompt in planning, review & reporting

Others

- Willingness to Travel;
- Readiness to work in shifts

POSITION FUNCTIONS

- Working with Quality function for the inspection and testing of New Parts.
- Inspect the parts as per the quality plans.
- Create the inspection reports in line with the requirements.
- Coordinate with the 3rd party labs for inspection/testing services and complete the inspection.
- Verify supplier quality documentation and compliance with the requirements

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹650,000.00 per year
