Housekeeping Supervisor ( 2 Position Available - One Senior Housekeeping Supervisor & One Assistant Superviser)

Role Overview: Be the operational backbone of the luxury home by meticulously organizing and auditing the 5-star visual and sanitary presentation of the entire estate. Ensure the Heritage elements of the home are maintained & timely repairs conducted as required. Upkeep of luxury standards by managing daily staffing rosters, conducting quality inspections, and overseeing specific Goan climate challenges like mold control, pool Ph control & cleanliness, localized pest managment. Taking care of the dogs and cats on the property would be one of the key responsibilities. Feeding the Pets & proper & timely healthcare & grooming services shall be a priority. A pet loving & pet friendly HK Supervisor would be given preference.

Key Responsibilities; Maintain strict room makeup and turn-down SOPs across the Heritage Villa and all luxury cottages. Manage high-end linens, specialized laundry, chemical inventory controls, and map primary technical system checks (ACs, lifts, filters).

- Daily Operations & Task Management:
- Shift Rosters: Create & manage daily duty schedules for housekeepers & pool/ garden staff, ensuring coverage during peak hours.
- Task Allocation: Assign deep cleaning schedules for the 8 bedrooms, common lounges, balconies, porches, dining areas, attics, bathrooms, cupboards, home kitchen, staff quarters etc..
- Hands on Support: Step in to assist with cleaning duties or laundry tasks during staff shortages, or peak seasons.
- Quality Control & HygieneRoom Inspections:
- Room Inspections: Conduct routine checks of all 8 rooms, bathrooms, and balconies before guest check-in to ensure 5-star cleanliness standards.
- Goa Climate Control: Monitor humidity and prevent mold/mildew in rooms. Ensure regular airing out of upholstery, especially during the monsoon season.
- Pest & Odor Control: Coordinate routine pest control treatments and ensure common trash areas (kitchen and poolside) are continuously sanitized to prevent flies and pests.
- Inventory & Supply Management
- Stock Tracking: Maintain daily logs and quarterly inventory of guest amenities (toiletries, drinking water), linens, towels, and cleaning chemicals.
- Procurement: Coordinate with the homestay owner or manager to order low-stock supplies before they run out.
- Maintenance & Property Upkeep:
- Routine Checks: Inspect fixtures, air conditioners, plumbing, and electrical outlets in all 8 rooms.
- Defect Reporting:



Log maintenance issues (e.g., broken geysers, leaky taps) and coordinate with external technicians or the maintenance team for quick repairs.
- Guest Relations:
- Special Requests: Handle VIP guest requests promptly, such as extra bedding, specific room fragrances, or customized laundry services.
- Feedback: Act as a bridge between the guests and the management, resolving complaints regarding housekeeping or room ambiance.
- Staff Training
- Training Programs: Train housekeepers on proper chemical usage, bed-making, and safety/sanitation procedures.
- Hygiene Compliance: Ensure all staff adhere to local health and safety regulations

Requirements:

Senior Housekeeper - Minimum 10 years PQE with min 5 years of supervisory experience.

Assistant Housekeeper - Minimum 5 years PQE with minimum 2 years of supervisory experience.

PQE for both positions should be in luxury hospitality villas, boutique resorts, 5 & 4 star hotels. Valid 2-wheeler or 4-wheeler driving license with driving experience required for errand logistics for all housekeeping roles.

Junior Housekeeping Staff (three (2) positions availible):

Role Overview: Execute flawless daily deep cleaning while maintaining a quiet, highly professional, and respectful presence in guest areas.

Core Responsibilities: Dusting and preservation of antiques, room sanitation, linen changes, and restocking guest amenities. Assist the Property Manager in keeping external drainage systems, common pathways, and pool decks immaculate. Fully support, cooperate, collaborate with Housekeeping Supervisors to execute items in Key Responsibilities 1 to 6 above in a timely manner.

Requirements: PQE of 2 to 3 years in a 4 Star or 5 Star hotel or high-end private residence experience. Valid 2-wheeler and 4-wheeler driving license required for errand logistics.

Mandatory Eligibility Criteria

Education:

A professional Hospitality Degree or a specialized, recognized vocational certification is a strict prerequisite for the Housekeeping Supervisor.

Language Proficiency:

Housekeeping Teams: A clear,



solid understanding of both Hindi and basic English reading & comprehension is required for effective internal communication and guest service checklists.

- NOTE: Candidates looking for an easy, slow paced resort job should strictly not apply. Lazy, indisciplined, unhygienic or textbook-only Housekeeping need not apply; trade tests & interviews will be highly rigorous.

Strict Contractual Terms: Job Type: Full-Time, 2-Year Fixed-Term Contract.

Compensation & Long-Term Benefits: Base Salary (All salary ranges are indicative ONLY & are subject to RELEVANT EXPERIENCE, EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS, DEMONSTRATED CAPABILITIES & FULFILLING ALL CRITERIA IN THIS JD):

- Senior Housekeeper - ₹27,000 – ₹30,000 per month
- Assistant Housekeeper - ₹25,000 – ₹27,000 per month
- Junior Housekeepers - ₹23,000 – ₹25,000 per month
- Joining Bonus - (valid ONLY for candidates joining on or before August 15th 2026), i.e 10 days of agreed salary to be paid 3 months after signing employment contract.
