Qualification

- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Skills

- Strong understanding of sugar Mill House with Cane Preparatory Devices and Cane Unloading etc.
- Experience in project management, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Knowledge of electrical, instrumentation, and automation systems.
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices.
- Proficiency in using engineering software and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Robust communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Project Planning and Management:
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk assessments.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders, such as project managers, site engineers, and vendors, to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor project progress and take corrective actions to meet deadlines and budgets.

- Equipment Erection and Installation:
- Supervise the erection and installation of machinery and milling equipment
- Ensure that equipment is installed according to engineering drawings, specifications, and industry standards.
- Conduct quality checks to verify the correct installation and alignment of equipment.

- Piping and Instrumentation:
- Oversee the installation of piping systems for steam, water, and other fluids.
- Ensure proper installation and calibration of instruments,



such as pressure gauges, temperature sensors, and flow meters.

- Electrical and Automation Systems:
- Coordinate with electrical and automation engineers to ensure the correct installation and wiring of electrical panels, motors, and control systems.
- Commission electrical and automation systems, including DCS/ PLC programming, HMI configuration and motor control center setup.

- Commissioning and Startup:
- Conduct pre-commissioning checks, such as hydraulic and pneumatic tests, to verify the functionality of equipment.
- Perform commissioning activities, including system startup, parameter tuning, and load testing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the commissioning process.

- Safety and Quality Assurance:
- Prioritize safety by adhering to safety protocols and ensuring that all personnel follow safety guidelines.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure that all work is carried out to the highest standards.
- Document all activities, including testing results, inspection reports, and maintenance records.
