Qualification: Diploma in Civil Engineering / B.Tech (Civil) or Equivalent
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimation Engineer with 3–4 years of experience in residential and commercial construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, BOQs, and tender documents while coordinating with design, procurement, and site teams to ensure cost efficiency and project feasibility.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed BOQs (Bill of Quantities) based on drawings and specifications.
Perform accurate quantity take-offs from architectural and structural drawings.
Conduct rate analysis and cost estimation for construction activities.
Prepare and submit tender documents, including technical and commercial proposals.
Analyze project drawings, specifications, and scope of work to determine material, labor, and equipment costs.
Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations and negotiate competitive rates.
Coordinate with design, site execution, and procurement teams to ensure cost control and project alignment.
Maintain updated data on market rates of materials, labor, and equipment.
Assist in budgeting and cost monitoring throughout project lifecycle.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation and quantity surveying.
Experience in cost estimation, tendering, and rate analysis.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software.
Positive understanding of construction materials, methods, and market rates.
Strong analytical, numerical, and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Good communication and coordination abilities.
Preferred Candidate Profile

Ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings accurately.
Strong attention to detail and cost optimization mindset.
