An Auditorium Manager oversees the daily operations, maintenance, and scheduling of a theater or performance space, providing technical expertise for events. They supervise technical crews (often students), manage lighting/sound systems, and coordinate with users to ensure safe, successful productions.

Key Responsibilities

- Technical Operations: Operate, maintain, and repair audio-visual equipment, including soundboards, lighting boards, and rigging systems.
- Event Coordination: Schedule events, coordinate with staff or event users, and set up the venue to meet specific production needs.
- Supervision & Training: Select, train, and supervise student crews or part time technicians in backstage work, lighting, and sound.
- Safety & Maintenance: Ensure the venue complies with safety regulations, conduct regular inspections, and manage inventory of supplies.
- Budgeting & Scheduling: Create schedules for facility usage and manage the auditorium's operating budget or rental invoicing.
- Handling staff and Booking procedures as additional duties

Qualifications

- Experience:



Previous experience in technical theater, stage management, or venue management is typically required.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in theatrical lighting, sound systems, and computer systems is essential.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to work with staff, students, and community members.
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree (BA) in technical theater or a related field is often preferred.

Working Conditions

- This role frequently requires working evenings and weekends.
- Physical demands may include working at heights, moving equipment, and working in a loud environment.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
