We are hiring for Maintenance Manager!

Key Responsibilities:

Equipment Maintenance & Reliability

- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Ensure minimum downtime of spring manufacturing equipment.
- Supervise maintenance of:
- CNC spring coiling machines
- Wire forming machines
- Heat treatment furnaces
- Shot peening machines
- Grinding and polishing machines
- Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Air compressors and cooling systems
- EOT cranes and material handling equipment
- Analyze recurring equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor machine performance, vibration, temperature, lubrication, and wear patterns.

Production Support

- Coordinate with production teams to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing.
- Plan shutdown maintenance activities.
- Support process improvements for productivity and cycle-time reduction.
- Assist in installation and commissioning of new machinery.

Team Management

- Lead and supervise maintenance engineers, technicians, electricians, and fitters.
- Assign daily maintenance tasks and monitor completion.
- Conduct training on machine safety and maintenance procedures.
- Manage contractor and vendor activities.

Safety & Compliance

- Ensure compliance with safety standards, electrical regulations, and factory rules.
- Maintain safe working practices including LOTO (Lockout/Tagout).
- Ensure statutory inspections and calibration schedules are completed.
- Support ISO/IATF/TPM implementation activities.

Inventory & Cost Control

- Maintain critical spare parts inventory.
- Control maintenance budgets and reduce maintenance costs.




- Coordinate procurement of spare parts and consumables.
- Negotiate with equipment suppliers and service vendors.

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain maintenance records, machine history cards, and breakdown reports.

Track KPIs such as:

- MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures)
- MTTR (Mean Time To Repair)
- Equipment uptime
- Maintenance cost per machine
- Prepare monthly maintenance reports for management.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering.
- 8–15 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing industries.
- Experience in springs, automotive components, wire forming, or precision engineering industries preferred.

Required Skills

- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Experience with TPM, preventive maintenance, and reliability engineering.
- Robust troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
- Familiarity with PLCs, CNC controls, and industrial automation.
- Leadership and team management capability.
- Knowledge of safety standards and industrial compliance systems.

Preferred Industry Experience

Experience in:

- Automotive spring manufacturing
- Compression, tension, and torsion spring production
- Wire products manufacturing
- Heat treatment operations
- Precision engineering industries

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Machine uptime percentage
- Breakdown reduction
- Preventive maintenance compliance
- Spare parts inventory accuracy
- Maintenance cost reduction
- Safety incident reduction
- Energy efficiency improvements

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
