Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable data architectures to meet business and technical requirements.
- Define data models, data flow diagrams, and metadata management strategies.
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure data solutions align with company goals.
- Develop and enforce data governance, quality, and security policies.
- Evaluate and recommend current data technologies, tools, and frameworks.
- Optimize storage and retrieval systems for structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.
- Lead migration projects from legacy systems to modern cloud-based platforms.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) related to data storage and processing.
- Mentor and guide junior data engineers and analysts in best practices.
