1. Requirement Analysis

â Analyze and understand customer-provided requirements.

â Prepare and share a query list with the Test Lead to clarify any uncertainties.

2. Test Effort Estimation

â Participate in test planning meetings to estimate the effort required for testing tasks.

â Provide accurate time and resource estimates for task completion.

3. Test Cases Documentation

â Document detailed test cases based on the defined tasks and assigned modules.

â Ensure that test cases or scenarios are prepared according to organizational standards

and development methodologies.

4. Defect Reporting and Tracking

â Accurately report bugs observed during testing using appropriate tools and templates.

â Track reported defects, ensuring they are resolved in accordance with their criticality.

5. Product Improvement Suggestions

â Utilize your fresh perspective to suggest improvements to the product's usability.

â Communicate improvement ideas effectively to the Test Lead or relevant stakeholders.

6. Daily Reporting





â Send daily status reports to the Test Lead, summarizing the testing activities performed

and their status.

â Use the daily report as a tool to communicate work progress and any blockers.

Requirements
Core Competencies:

1. Educational Background

â A relevant degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related

field.

2. Experience Level

â Suitable for individuals with 0-1 year of experience in software testing or a related role.

â Familiarity with basic testing concepts and eagerness to develop skills further in a

professional environment.

3. Manual Testing Expertise

â Robust understanding of test cases, test plans, and bug reporting processes.

â Ability to perform thorough manual testing and identify defects efficiently.

4. Technical Knowledge

â Basic knowledge of SQL, HTML/CSS, and introductory scripting.
