Job Description

Approve EHS Strategic Plans:

- Develop and approve EHS strategic plans aligned with organizational goals and laws.

- Ensure adequate EHS resources, including funds, facilities, and staffing.

- Conduct executive tours to encourage secure practices and showcase EHS leadership.

Strategic Business Growth

- Promote L&T; Corporate EHS Policy and HCI IC IMS procedures.

- Support corporate EHS initiatives to demonstrate L&T;'s EHS leadership.

Stakeholder Management





- Direct SBG/BU Heads to communicate and implement EHS objectives at projects.

- Ensure timely incident reporting and closure, fostering accountability.

Leadership and Team Development

- Provide EHS training for all personnel to perform their roles effectively.

- Chair annual EHS management review meetings to assess objectives and progress.

- Guide disciplinary actions for deliberate negligence of EHS requirements.

Compliance and Safety

- Promote Zero Harm Mission and RAKSHA Program to ensure safety commitment.

- Advocate risk management for Class 1 risks and implement Golden Safety Rules.

- Periodically review EHS performance with SBG/BU Heads and address gaps.
