Position description: Jindal Stainless Limited is seeking an experienced and strategic leader to oversee the planning operations within the Customer Service Management (CSM) department. This role demands a seasoned skilled with a deep understanding of the mining and metals industry, responsible for driving effective production planning, inventory management, and customer order fulfillment. The successful candidate will lead cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain processes, ensure alignment with business objectives, and enhance customer satisfaction through timely and accurate delivery. This position requires strong analytical capabilities, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to implement innovative planning solutions in a dynamic industrial environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the end-to-end planning process for the CSM department, ensuring alignment with production capabilities and customer demand.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize inventory levels, reduce lead times, and improve order fulfillment rates.
- Collaborate with sales, production, procurement, and logistics teams to synchronize supply chain activities and resolve planning bottlenecks.
- Analyze market trends, production data, and customer requirements to forecast demand accurately and adjust plans proactively.




- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by leveraging data analytics and industry best practices to enhance planning efficiency and accuracy.
- Manage and mentor a team of planning professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and high performance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements within the planning function.
- Prepare and present detailed reports and performance metrics to senior management, highlighting key insights and action plans.
- Coordinate with IT and systems teams to implement and maintain advanced planning tools and ERP systems tailored to the mining and metals sector.
- Lead risk management efforts related to supply chain disruptions, capacity constraints, and market fluctuations.
