Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled L2 Proxy / SSE Resident Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Secure Service Edge (SSE) technologies. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in proxy infrastructure, traffic management, and troubleshooting complex network and security issues in enterprise environments.

This is a customer-facing onsite role requiring both technical depth and operational reliability.

Key Responsibilities

- Demonstrate strong understanding of SSE fundamentals including SWG, CASB, ZTNA, FWaaS, and overall traffic flow
- Apply in-depth knowledge of proxy technologies, including HTTP/HTTPS request flow, SSL decryption, and authentication
- Configure and troubleshoot security policies such as URL filtering, application control, and DLP
- Manage traffic steering using agent routing, PAC files, split tunneling, and bypass scenarios
- Provide basic CASB insights including SaaS visibility, Shadow IT, and tenant restrictions
- Troubleshoot complex issues such as CORS errors, SSL failures, application breakage, and latency problems
- Diagnose endpoint/agent issues including connectivity, behavior,



and trusted network configurations
- Understand and apply Zero Trust principles (ZTNA) including identity-based access and verification models
- Maintain robust security awareness, including risks like data exfiltration, GenAI misuse, and phishing threats

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 4–5 years of experience in Proxy, SSE, or Web Security technologies
- Hands-on experience with enterprise proxy/SSE platforms (e.g., Zscaler, Netskope, Palo Alto Prisma Access)
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Good understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, TCP/IP, TLS)
- Ability to work in a 24×7 rotational shift environment
- Strong communication skills for onsite stakeholder interaction

Preferred Qualifications

- BTech, BCA, BSc, or equivalent qualification
- Certifications in networking/security (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, Security+, or vendor-specific SSE certifications)
- Experience in enterprise-scale deployments and managed services environments
