Job Description

Lead and manage a cross-functional engineering team building and scaling DataSwitch, Incture's data integration and orchestration platform.

Own end-to-end delivery of DataSwitch features and releases, coordinating across architecture, development, QA, and DevOps functions.

Partner with product managers and architects to translate business and customer requirements into prioritized engineering roadmaps and sprint plans.

Drive engineering excellence across the team through code review practices, architectural governance, CI/CD adoption, and quality standards.

Recruit, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of engineers; provide regular performance feedback and support career development.

Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and delivery risks; communicate progress and blockers clearly to senior leadership.

Collaborate with the DataSwitch architect to ensure technical decisions align with scalability, resilience, and maintainability goals.





Champion agile methodologies and continuous improvement practices within the team.

Requirements

Proven experience managing and delivering software engineering projects, with a strong foundation in Java, Microservices, React.js, and RDBMS technologies (MySQL, PostgreSQL).

Demonstrated track record of leading engineering teams: hiring, mentoring, performance management, and fostering a collaborative team culture.

Solid understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and data structures; ability to engage meaningfully in technical discussions without being the primary decision-maker.

Experience with agile delivery, sprint planning, backlog management, and release coordination in a quick-paced product environment.

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; able to translate between technical and non-technical audiences with clarity.

Comfortable managing competing priorities and navigating ambiguity in a dynamic, growth-stage product company.
