Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Sports Teacher to promote physical fitness, sportsmanship, and healthy lifestyles among students. The ideal candidate will plan and conduct physical education classes, coach students in various sports, organize sporting events, and ensure a safe and engaging learning workplace.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and conduct Physical Education (PE) classes for students across assigned grades.
- Teach the rules, techniques, and skills of various indoor and outdoor sports.
- Develop students' physical fitness, coordination, teamwork, and discipline.
- Organize annual sports day, athletic meets, inter-house competitions, and inter-school tournaments.
- Identify and train students for inter-school, district, and state-level competitions.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students during sports and physical activities.
- Maintain discipline on the playground and during sports events.
- Maintain and manage sports equipment and playground facilities.
- Keep records of student participation, attendance, and performance.




- Encourage students to adopt healthy lifestyles and participate actively in sports.
- Participate in school events, staff meetings, and parent-teacher meetings as required.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Principal.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) is mandatory.
- Master's Degree in Physical Education (M.P.Ed.) will be an added advantage.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred.

Experience

- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience as a Sports/Physical Education Teacher in a recognized school.
- Experience in coaching school teams and organizing sports events is preferred.

Required Skills

- Sound knowledge of physical education, sports rules, and fitness training.
- Ability to coach multiple sports such as Athletics, Football, Cricket, Basketball, Volleyball, Badminton, Kho-Kho, and Kabaddi.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and student management skills.
- Strong organizational and teamwork abilities.
- Basic computer knowledge for maintaining records and reports.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
