Senior Accountant

Location: Kovilambakkam, Chennai

Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹30,000 per month

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage accounting operations, GST compliance, financial reporting, payroll, and inventory coordination. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Zoho Books and Zoho Inventory and be capable of independently managing day-to-day accounting activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage daily accounting transactions using Zoho Books.
- Maintain ledgers, reconciliations, and financial records.
- Prepare monthly Profit & Loss Statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Statements.
- Generate GST invoices and coordinate GST filings with external auditors.
- Maintain inventory records using Zoho Inventory and coordinate stock reconciliation.
- Process payroll and employee reimbursements.
- Verify vendor invoices and ensure timely payment processing.
- Prepare quotations and support documentation for business requirements.




- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate purchase requirements with vendors.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-6 years of accounting experience.
- Hands-on experience with Zoho Books is mandatory.
- Experience with Zoho Inventory is preferred.
- Good understanding of GST compliance and accounting principles.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Willing to work from Kovilambakkam, Chennai.
