Job Description – Purchase Executive (Procurement Department)

Position: Purchase Executive

Location: Gondia, Maharashtra

Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle procurement of raw materials, packaging materials, consumables, machinery spares, and other items as

per production requirements.

• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure cost-effective and quality purchases.

• Maintain and update vendor database and build strong supplier relationships.

• Prepare purchase orders (POs), track order status, and follow up for timely deliveries.

• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with store/production teams to avoid stockouts.

• Verify purchase invoices with GRN (Goods Receipt Note) and coordinate with accounts for payment processing.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.





• Generate procurement-related MIS reports and assist in cost control initiatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (Commerce/Business Administration/Supply Chain preferred).

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in purchase/procurement, preferably in manufacturing or

mining/construction.

• Good negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.

• Knowledge of ERP/Busy/Tally or similar procurement/accounting software.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
