The Ground Instructor (GI) is responsible for delivering
aviation theoretical knowledge training to student pilots in accordance with
DGCA CARs, approved syllabi, and Skylok Aviation’s training manuals, ensuring
high instructional standards and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver
classroom sessions using smart boards, digital classrooms, and contemporary
teaching aids
- Prepare
and maintain lesson plans, presentations, question banks, and training
material
- Conduct
internal assessments, mock exams, and progress evaluations
- Monitor
student performance and provide academic guidance where required
- Maintain
accurate student attendance, training records, and assessment
documentation
- Update
student progress and course delivery details on the Learning Management
System (LMS)
- Adhere
strictly to DGCA CARs, approved syllabi, and organisational procedures
- Support
DGCA audits, inspections, and internal standardisation activities
- Coordinate
with the CGI and training team for scheduling and academic planning
Requirements
- Must
meet DGCA CAR requirements applicable for appointment as a Ground
Instructor
- Valid
aviation qualification such as CPL / ATPL / Flight Instructor /
DGCA-approved Ground Instructor (as applicable)
- Minimum
0-1 years of experience in aviation ground training or a relevant
instructional role
