Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient history taking and physical examinations in both the Ward and OPD settings.
- Diagnose and manage common acute and chronic medical conditions in accordance with hospital protocols and clinical guidelines.
- Prepare and maintain accurate, up-to-date medical records and documentation in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized patient care plans in coordination with senior doctors and multidisciplinary teams.
- Monitor patient progress during hospitalization, including vital signs, treatment response, and adverse events.
- Perform routine clinical procedures such as wound dressing, injections, and basic emergency interventions as required.
- Provide timely and clear communication to patients and their families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and follow-up care.
- Collaborate with nursing staff, pharmacists,
and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Adhere to infection control protocols, safety standards, and hospital policies at all times.
- Participate in on-call duties and emergency response as scheduled.
Requirements:
- MBBS degree from a recognized medical university with valid registration with the Medical Council of India (or equivalent).
- Proficiency in clinical assessment, diagnosis, and management of common medical conditions.
- Hands-on experience or training in Ward and OPD patient management during internship or clinical rotations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced clinical setting.
- Proficient in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and basic computer applications.
