Responsibilities:
- Perform and interpret diagnostic imaging studies including X-ray, Ultrasound, CT Scan, MRI, and Mammography.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of imaging findings with clear, concise, and clinically relevant interpretations.
- Collaborate with referring physicians to determine appropriate imaging protocols and optimize diagnostic accuracy.
- Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and contribute to clinical decision-making processes.
- Maintain strict adherence to radiation safety standards and quality assurance protocols.
- Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and patient safety.
- Stay current with advancements in radiological technology, techniques, and clinical guidelines.
- Contribute to departmental audits, training programs, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior radiology staff and trainees as needed.
Requirements:
- MBBS degree with postgraduate qualification in Radiology (MD/DM in Radiology or equivalent).
- Valid registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council.
- Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in a hospital or clinical radiology setting.
- Proficiency in interpreting X-ray, Ultrasound, CT Scan, MRI, and Mammography studies.
- Robust understanding of radiation safety, patient positioning, and imaging protocols.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Familiarity with PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication Systems) and RIS (Radiology Information Systems).
- Commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to ethical medical practices.
